Mark the actual destination
Start with the rooms the intended user wants to reach and mark each proposed stop. If stairs turn or separate flights connect the levels, ask the assessor to show the whole journey. These are property-specific scenarios, not claims about neighborhood housing.
Examine any chair-to-chair transfer
Where separate straight lifts are proposed, ask how the user moves between them and where mobility aids or assistance would be positioned. A continuous curved route has different design and ordering implications. Neither option is established as suitable by its price.
Count ownership costs for the complete system
Ask how maintenance, batteries and call-outs are priced for every unit. Clarify the effect of one unavailable lift on the remaining route. Save the complete rail layout with the installation scope and future service responsibilities.
Keep the proposal comparable
- Exact equipment and a measured rail layout.
- Preparation, installation, demonstration and written terms.
- Servicing at the actual address, parts and removal responsibilities.
