Riverwest buyer guide

Before equipment,
agree who authorizes what.

Riverwest buyers in rented or shared properties need clarity about permission, installation responsibilities and later removal.

Independent referral service · provider availability must be confirmed for your address.

Establish the installation authority

Where a landlord, co-owner or association is involved, confirm who may authorize the proposed changes. A quotation is not property permission. Discuss whether the route is private or forms part of access used by other occupants.

Document physical changes

Ask for the rail plan, mounting details, power requirements and any preparation outside the lift supplier scope. Clarify who commissions and pays for each part. Do not rely on an assumption that installation is entirely reversible without making good.

Agree the end-of-use plan

Record ownership, maintenance access, removal and reinstatement responsibilities before paying a deposit. Check any relevant local or building requirements with the responsible party. This guide does not make a permit, compliance or shared-stair suitability determination for Riverwest properties.

Keep the proposal comparable

  • Exact equipment and a measured rail layout.
  • Preparation, installation, demonstration and written terms.
  • Servicing at the actual address, parts and removal responsibilities.
This is an editorial guide for Riverwest, not a statement about every property here. Coverage, stock and assessment availability must be confirmed by a provider. No local office or installation crew is claimed.
